Chrysler Building, Lobby Ceiling Mural

EverGreene’s restoration of this historic 1931 lobby ceiling mural included removing overpaint, varnishes and polyurethane, and inpainting damaged areas. Part of the restoration process was the removal of 24 recessed light fixtures that had been retrofit in the 1970s. After this was done and the holes plastered over, those areas were carefully painted to match the surrounding murals.
